Rodney A. Myer has practiced primarily in the fields of elder law, Medicaid law, and probate law since 2003, first as an elder law attorney, and now as counsel for long term care providers. At Kennedy, PC Law Offices, Mr. Myer’s practice focuses on Medicaid eligibility, collections, guardianships, estate administration and audit and rate appeals.  Before attending law school, Mr. Myer developed extensive knowledge of the Medicaid eligibility process as a mental health case manager under the direction of the Bucks County Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation.

He is a 2002 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law.  At Dickinson, Mr. Myer was honored with a Dean’s Scholarship and named as a Senior Editor of the Penn State International Law Review. Mr. Myer’s article, “Domains Without Borders: Reconciling Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policies and Trademark Rights between the United States and the Nations of the European Union,” was published in the Winter 2002 edition of the Penn State International Law Review.

Mr. Myer has presented a continuing legal education seminar on eldercare issues and served as a board member of a non-profit organization dedicated to crime prevention.

During his undergraduate studies at Eastern Mennonite University, Mr. Myer was elected student government president and composed and performed the musical score for a film. He lives in Hershey, PA with his wife and two sons.
