Benjamin J. Glatfelter, Esquire
Benjamin Glatfelter joined Kennedy, PC
Law Offices in September 2006. As an associate of the firm, his
practice focuses on Medicaid/Medicare audit and case mix rate
appeals, continuing care facility licensure, compliance and
regulatory issues, guardianships, and collection
Mr. Glatfelter’s
legal experience ranges from working in a small firm concentrating in
real estate and business law to experience in both the Pennsylvania
and Massachusetts Offices of Attorney General. Mr. Glatfelter has
drafted settlement and release agreements, realty trusts, civil
complaints, and answers. Mr. Glatfelter has obtained a tax
abatement, facilitated a 1031 exchange, and settled a property dispute.
At the Massachusetts Office of Attorney General, Consumer Protection
and Antitrust Division, Mr. Glatfelter worked to enforce the terms of
the Master Settlement Agreement against non-complying tobacco
manufacturers. At the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General,
Bureau of Consumer Protection, Mr. Glatfelter researched and
investigated issues surrounding heightened mortgage foreclosures in
several Pennsylvania counties. While in law school, Mr. Glatfelter
also volunteered at the Norfolk County Probate and Family Court in
Massachusetts assisting pro se litigants in the drafting of various
domestic relations motions.
